Batman Begins (2005)

The film set grounds for one of the greatest trilogies ever made. A perfect origin story of a Superhero, which tells you superhero is not always gifted with godlike powers or a scientific experiment but it can be anyone with strong will power and ability to set examples. Christopher Nolan shows his perfection in direction all minute details considered, a grand cast with Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Morgen Freeman and Liam Nesson make their impact in every scene and top-notch music gave this trilogy a perfect start.

Main events of the film take place in the Gotham city, filled with corrupt people in every sector, batteling with a falling economy and the gangster. Film start with Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale)  strangled in some Asian prison to explore criminal fraternity and struggling with the childhood trauma of fear of bats and grief of his parent's death for which he himself considers responsible and how he failed to avenge his parent's death. In prison, he meets Ducard who takes him to Ra’s Al Ghul a leader of a league of shadows, who offers Bruce a path to serve true justice and there he get training like ninjas to fight against 500 enemies at ones. Certainly, at the end of the training, he gets to know the real intentions of the league of shadow to destroy Gotham just like they did in past with Constantinople and Rome, to destroy suffering and injustice by execution. However, Bruce believes in justice, not vengeance he tries to exit from there but the member of league shadows stop him however he out wins them and kills Ra’s Al Ghul.

Bruce come back to Gotham takes over grand Wayne Enterprises, he meets Luscious Fox working at R&D in Wayne enterprises and from that moment journey of Batman begins. Nolan showed a practical weapon and technology which batman uses to take down criminals and that’s why it feels more realistic and believable. Batman meets Gordon as one of the honest individuals in the city who is unable to control crimes because of corrupt departments. The first target of Batman is Maroni leader of the gangster has a connection with all the illegal things happening Gotham and who is shipping drugs from unknown sources to the city. After Maroni he goes to take down Scarecrow the second villain, an Arkram hospital doctor uses a certain chemical to Hallucinate criminal while interrogating and taking them to Asylum for experiments. There Batman learns the bigger plan operating behind the scenes and the director of this plan is nothing but Ra’s Al Ghul who is still alive and no one but the Duccard whom Bruce saved and league of shadows. Their plan is to spray that hallucinating drug in Gotham and wait until it destroyed by the chaos. Batman with the help of Gordon and Rachel stops the plan and defeat the third villain of the movie Ra’s Al Ghul finally. In the end, we get exciting glimpses of what is coming next? And The End….

Batman Begins is a well-structured film with deals with different level of villains. The theme of the movie is FEAR and dealing with Fear and use of Fear to defeat the opponents
